Westcliff's visit was always going to be a tough game for the Stanford under 13 squad. After keeping the game fairly close for much of the match, Stanford could not keep up with the pace and power of the Westcliff side. The pressure that was exerted by the Westcliff forwards told in the later stages of the game. Some of the visitors scores' resulted from turnover ball in the line-out and some from their fast and strong backs returning kicks. This was a valiant effort by the Stanford side, but Westcliff were always favourites and were a well-drilled and big, fit side. Final score was 15-38 to Westcliff.
Stanford Minis are at home to Harlow on Sunday 23rd January.
