Stanford dominated the first half with the forwards and backs linking well in all areas, going in 12-0 up at half time. Tries were from Rhys Smith-Allen and Jack Payne and 1 conversion from Jordan Harper. In the second half, a determined South Woodham Ferrers got back into the game with a good try, Stanford came back strongly again with Jack Payne’s second try, to give Stanford a well deserved win, by 17-5. Special mention must go to Adam Puttman and Joe Wright, who both had excellent games.
Stanford under 13’s are away to Rochford on Sunday, 19th December.
